Supreme Chaplain for the Knights of Columbus, His Excellency Archbishop William
Lori of Baltimore, preached and then celebrated Traditional Pontifical Vespers
at the St. Alphonsus Liguori Shrine
in Baltimore, the Latin Mass parish, staffed by the Priestly
Fraternity of St. Peter (whom he invited to his archdiocese in 2017).
During
his remarks, His Excellency offered three things everyone can do during this
nine-day period between Ascension and Pentecost:
- Attend Daily Mass or Pray – novenas to the Holy Spirit is one suggestion
- Pray for Church, specifically the Pope and Bishops
- Ask the Holy Spirit in fulfilling the great commission to the Gospel to the ends of the earth – reaching out to bring inactive Catholics back to the faith (families, children) bring relatives, acquaintances, friends, and strangers at work and in life.

His visit was not just a blessing for the parishioners of the Shrine, but a great spiritual gift to all Knights who have a devotion to the Latin Mass. Please consider offering a decade of your Rosary, for His Excellency.
