The Latin Liturgy Association will hold its annual convention from July 14-16 in Fairfield, New Jersey. The event will feature talks on the Latin language, and its importance to the liturgy. The closing Mass on Sunday July 16 will be a Traditional Latin Mass.
We are also very pleased to share
that two of the invited speakers are members of our Network, Brothers Raymond de
Souza, KM, and Richard Haefer, KCHS. This looks to be an edifying conference
and encourage everyone to take a look. The website is below, followed by a
flyer:
Brother Knights:
Please see the below e-mail message from Supreme Office for the Knights, asking Knights to offer prayers of reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus this coming Friday June 16 for blasphemies and offenses given by the Los Angeles Dodgers by inviting an anti-Catholic group to one of their games. Since many Latin Mass attendees practice devotion to the Sacred Heart, we share this announcement below and encourage Knights to participate.
The prayers can be downloaded here: https://www.kofc.org/en/resources/communications/litany-to-the-sacred-heart.pdf

====================================
Dear Brother Knight,
On Friday, June 16, Catholics around the world will celebrate God’s love for us
on the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is a day to honor
Christ’s humble gift of his very self, offered out of deep and abiding love for
all of humanity.
This Friday, however, is also the day the Los Angeles Dodgers professional
baseball team has chosen to celebrate a group of men who masquerade as Catholic
nuns and mock the Virgin Mary, consecrated women, and Jesus Christ himself,
through their shocking displays and vulgar behavior. As noted by the United States Conference
of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), the decision of the Dodgers is “not
just offensive and painful to Christians everywhere; it is blasphemy.”
In response, the USCCB has called on Catholics to pray the Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 16
“as an act of reparation for the blasphemies against our Lord we see in our
culture today.”
The Knights of Columbus urges its members to respond to the call of our bishops
and make a stand for respect, decency and our Catholic faith. Through prayer
and by making reparation, we’ll draw ever closer to Christ’s Sacred Heart, which
Pope Francis has said is “the source of love and peace.”
