Video: Deepening (or Starting) My Prayer Life as a Man

As we begin the first full week of Lent, we share our recent webinar with Fr. John Brancich, FSSP, on Deepening (or Starting) My Prayer Life as a Man.

The talk has many helpful tips and guidance on how to deepen our prayer life as men in practical but spiritually meaningful ways, especially during this time of Lent. His talk includes practical but timeless methods recommended by the saints and the Church. This presentation is both helpful to those who are seeking to start a deeper prayer life or to deepen it.

Lent begins, in two weeks, Wednesday February 18. In preparation, we share a wonderful annual Lenten offering by the traditional Carmelite Hermits of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel inFairfield, PA which you can begin to enroll in today.

The deadline to enroll is Tuesday February 17 (day before Lent).

The Hermits will be offering the following during Lent:

  • 40 Traditional Latin Masses (Carmelite Rite)

Enroll those most in need to benefit from 40 Masses and 40 days of prayer and penance offered by the Discalced Hermits of Our Lady of Mount Carmel this Lent. Anyone can be enrolled (living or deceased) but especially it is beneficial for those in need of conversion, healing, or strength.

Although the enrollment is free, the Hermits survive entirely on alms from the laity, and as such please consider a donation to help support their apostolate. Also noteworthy is that a few members of Hermits’ community are brother Knights
